This EP was the first record by Confession. It consisted of James Curran, Susan Guiles, and Opie Messinger. They spent way too much money on its production, but it is a wonderful record. Dominated by Susan's amazing vocals - a unique and dramatic voice somewhere between Emmy Lou Harris and Annie Haslam. James's guitar work and songwriting are excellent, as are his vocals. Opie brings it all together with his guitar prowess and rich backing vocals. This record creates a lasting impact, even if it is only four songs long.

James and Susan run an antique furniture store in Lambertville - James Curran Antiques, where they sell and restore English-British antique furniture, 17th, 18th, and 19th century. They have two daughters and a grandchild.

Opie Messinger passed away very suddenly in May 2016. He was survived by his children and partner.

Confession was James Curran, his wife, Susan Guiles, and Opey Messinger. They often performed in the West N.J. / Bucks County area and made 2 records - an EP and this album. The compositions were by James with input by Opey. Susan did most of the singing & lyrics. Today, James runs his antique shop in Lambertville NJ, where he and Susan live. Opie died suddenly in 2016.
